Ha Giang welcomes over 1.7 million tourists in the first 6 months of 2025

BHG - In the first 6 months of 2025, the whole province welcomed over 1.7 million visitors to visit and experience, an increase of 0.86% over the same period last year and reaching 48.7% of the yearly plan. Of which, nearly 300 thousand international visitors and over 1.4 million domestic visitors. Total revenue from tourism is estimated at over 4,600 billion VND.

The above growth shows that the province's tourism industry continues to flourish thanks to the synchronous implementation of solutions, especially in propaganda, promotion, advertising, and regional linkage. Many large-scale cultural and tourism events have been successfully organized, creating a ripple effect and attracting a large number of tourists such as: Cooperation in developing tourism in 8 Northwestern provinces in Ho Chi Minh City; participating in the VITM International Tourism Fair in Hanoi ; successfully organizing the Ha Giang cultural tourism space and the launching ceremony of the photo book "Ha Giang - The Land of Blossoming Rocks"; coordinating with the National Tourism Administration to promote and advertise Ha Giang tourism internationally in France, Italy, and Switzerland. In addition, the province also focuses on surveying to find new tourist routes, creating attractive destinations such as: Surveying Bat Dai Son Nature Reserve (Quan Ba), Du Gia National Park (Yen Minh); coordinating with Helvetas Vietnam to develop sustainable and effective community tourism models.

In the last 6 months of the year, the province continues to implement the Prime Minister's Official Dispatch No. 34 dated April 10, 2025 on promoting tourism development, associated with ensuring the target of local economic growth. The focus is on attracting investment in infrastructure development, improving service quality, and applying digital technology in destination management and promotion. With synchronous efforts and a clear strategy, Ha Giang is gradually affirming its position as a leading cultural destination in the region, when it was honored by Times Magazine as ranked 10th in the list of 44 most beautiful tourist destinations in the world.
