The press needs to become a fulcrum of truth, contributing to the correct orientation of information, correcting deviations in the media, creating a healthy and objective information forum.
A modern press must always be attached to humanistic values, always for the national interests and the legitimate rights of the people. In the digital age, the press is not only under pressure to compete for information, but also bears the responsibility of maintaining public trust through standards, honesty and humanistic spirit in each article.
From a lawyer's perspective, I always consider the press as a companion of the law. In recent times, local press has become a bridge to bring the voice of justice closer to the community. Not only promptly reflecting cases related to the law, the press also contributes to promoting reform, protecting justice and social equality. As a Party member with more than 40 years of Party membership, I receive and read Phu Yen Newspaper every day. Over the past time, with the changes, development, and progress of the country along with the growth of technology and digital transformation, I have realized that revolutionary press in general and Phu Yen Newspaper in particular always play a pioneering role, are the shock force on the ideological and cultural front of the Party, accompanying and making important contributions to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland, developing the country and the province.
I think that for the elderly, the press is not only a means of entertainment but also a bridge to help them grasp information about society, both domestic and international, that is happening every day and to stay connected with the community. Reading newspapers and listening to the radio are still the main channels for the elderly to access official information. In each meeting of the Elderly Club, we research and disseminate relevant policies and guidelines of the Party and State published in the press so that everyone can access them.
