The acceptance of products with the participation of artificial intelligence (AI) in the Vietnam Creative Advertising Awards 2025 not only reflects the flexible adaptation of the advertising industry to the wave of technology, but also affirms the spirit of openness and innovation in artistic thinking and creative management.
Mr. Nguyen Truong Son, Chairman of the Vietnam Advertising Association, Head of the Organizing Committee of the award shared: “Advertising and communications are no longer just a profession, but are becoming the art of storytelling”. In the digital age, the use of AI tools to support creativity does not reduce the value of the work, but on the contrary, is a testament to the adaptability and development of the profession. The core still lies in the “Vietnamese spirit”, in the thinking, in the emotional and unique storytelling - something that technology cannot completely replace.

From 2023 to 2024, the award attracted more than 2,200 works, showing a strong spread in the creative community. Whether using AI or not, each campaign must demonstrate professional courage, cultural depth and positive contributions to society. This is also the way the award realizes the goal set out from the beginning: "Say no to false advertising, respect the law" and aim for international standards.
According to the 2025 award regulations, entries must be products that have been released, shown or implemented in Vietnam between September 1, 2024 and September 30, 2025. The works must comply with Vietnamese laws on advertising and copyright, not violate public morality and must not contain controversial, provocative or misleading elements...

According to Ms. Ninh Thi Thu Huong, Director of the Department of Grassroots Culture, Family and Library, the Vietnam Creative Advertising Award 2025 encourages creativity, including the application of new technologies such as AI. However, creativity must be within the legal framework and consistent with the nature and objectives of the award. Abuse of images, content or messages that are not suitable for products, goods or services, do not reflect the true quality, use or violate the contest rules will not be accepted.
