Dissolution and termination of activities of 18 grassroots trade unions directly under the City Labor Federation

(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the afternoon of June 25, the City Labor Federation held a Conference to announce the Decision to end the activities of the grassroots trade union at the direct superior level.

The leaders of the City Labor Federation presented the Decision to representatives of the units.

At the Conference, the City Labor Federation announced the decision to transfer and receive 1,905 grassroots unions with 299,791 union members under 17 direct superior grassroots unions to the City Labor Federation from June 25, 2025.

At the same time, the City Labor Federation also decided to dissolve and terminate the operations of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and Inspection Committee of 18 grassroots trade unions directly under the City Labor Federation from June 30, 2025. The dissolved trade unions are responsible for handing over their seals, all documents, equipment, assets, finances, and transferring the status of grassroots trade unions, union members, and workers to the City Labor Federation for management according to regulations.
