Completely resolve the backlog in driving tests

On the morning of July 18, the Traffic Police Department (C08, Ministry of Public Security) said that the unit has just directed the Traffic Police Departments of provincial and municipal public security to concentrate and mobilize maximum officers and examiners to focus on the work of issuing, exchanging, and testing driving licenses for people; completely resolving the backlog in driving tests.

According to the representative of C08, for localities lacking examiners, C08 will increase the number of examiners from the unit or other localities to ensure the requirements. The deadline for localities to complete is before July 30.

C08 also informed that students who have met the exam requirements need to contact the center where they study or the local Traffic Police Department where they reside to get the exam schedule and arrange a time to take the exam.

According to information from the authorities, the Ministry of Public Security has received data on more than 60.5 million driving licenses, and has also edited and upgraded the software for testing and issuing driving licenses. Recently, the Department of Administrative Police for Social Order has informed about the utilities on the national identification application (VNeID), through which 43 utilities have been integrated, including nearly 19 million electronic driving licenses and about 7 million vehicle registration certificates have been integrated.

In Hanoi , according to the announcement, from July 15 to July 31, the traffic police force will work directly with training facilities and testing centers to review and accurately count the number of students who have completed the training program but have not yet taken the exam.
