Disbursement of over 42 billion VND for social housing loans

According to the Bank for Social Policies, Thai Nguyen Province Branch, in the first 5 months of 2025, the loan turnover for the social housing program in the province reached more than 42 billion VND, with 102 customers accessing preferential capital sources according to Decree No. 100/2015/ND-CP of the Government.

The family of Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan, in group 4B, Pho Co ward (Song Cong city), was able to borrow 450 million VND from the social housing loan source to build a new house.

By the end of May 2025, the total outstanding debt of the social housing program in the province reached more than 151 billion VND, with 438 customers still in debt. This is an important source of capital, providing practical support for policy beneficiaries, low-income people in urban areas, industrial park workers, etc. to gradually improve their living conditions, settle down and feel secure in working and producing.

According to the representative of the Provincial Branch of the Social Policy Bank, in the context of increasing demand for social housing, the Bank will continue to coordinate with authorities at all levels and socio -political organizations entrusted to strengthen policy dissemination, review loan needs, shorten the time to process applications, in order to create the most favorable conditions for people to access preferential loans. At the same time, the Bank will also strengthen the inspection and supervision of the use of capital for the right purpose, contributing to ensuring the effectiveness of the program...
