On the afternoon of July 8, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Quang Tri Province Police said that the unit had successfully rescued a 5-year-old child whose leg was stuck in a drain pipe.
Previously, at around 4:00 pm on July 7, while playing at his uncle's house (Trung Chin hamlet, Lao Bao commune, Quang Tri province), Tran Tien (5 years old, from Hue city) unfortunately got his foot stuck in a drain pipe under the yard.
Due to the dire situation, the family immediately called for help from the authorities.
Upon receiving the news, the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area 2 urgently mobilized forces and specialized vehicles to the scene.
Soldiers deployed quickly rescue work, both reassuring the child and breaking through the concrete and cutting plastic pipes to rescue him.
After more than 1 hour and 30 minutes, Tran Tien was brought out safely, healthy, and without injuries.

Mr. Ha Xuan Phu, the child's uncle, shared: "We are deeply moved by your dedication, urgency and humanity.
