National Youth Table Tennis Tournament 2025: Searching for the next generation of talent

The 2025 National Table Tennis Tournament for Outstanding Young, Teenage and Children's Players brings together more than 250 athletes from 21 delegations across the country.

The tournament will take place at Dong Nai Provincial Gymnasium from August 23 to 31 with 5 events: men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles. A total of 34 sets of medals will be awarded to the best players. This is one of the important tournaments in the national high-performance sports system, where promising faces of Vietnamese table tennis are discovered and nurtured.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ms. Le Thi Ngoc Loan - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dong Nai province - affirmed: "Dong Nai is very honored to host the 2025 National Youth Table Tennis Tournament. This is not only a sports festival for young athletes but also a testament to the strong development of the table tennis movement across the country, contributing to bringing Vietnamese sports further in the international arena."

With table tennis becoming an increasingly popular Olympic sport, this year’s tournament is expected to be an important stepping stone for young talents on their long-term journey. More than 250 athletes will have the opportunity to compete, hone their skills and learn from quality opponents.

With a vibrant atmosphere right from the opening day, the 2025 National Youth Table Tennis Tournament promises to bring dramatic matches, creating a special mark on the journey of finding and nurturing the next generation of talents for Vietnamese table tennis.
