Gasoline prices continue to increase from 3pm today, June 26, then change from July 1

In the face of recent developments in world petroleum product prices and the implementation of petroleum price management according to the market mechanism under State management, in the adjustment period of June 19, 2025, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance will not make provisions and will not spend the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for all products.

Accordingly, from 3:00 p.m. on June 26, the maximum retail prices for petroleum products are applied as follows: E5RON92 gasoline is not higher than VND 20,911/liter (an increase of VND 280/liter compared to the previous period); RON95-III gasoline is not higher than VND 21,507/liter (an increase of VND 263/liter compared to the previous period); 0.05S diesel is not higher than VND 19,707/liter (an increase of VND 551/liter compared to the previous period); kerosene is not higher than VND 19,417/liter (an increase of VND 494/liter compared to the previous period).

In the opposite direction, 180CST 3.5S mazut oil is not higher than 17,269 VND/kg (down 374 VND/kg compared to the previous period).

Thus, since the beginning of the year, domestic gasoline prices have undergone 26 adjustments, of which RON 95 gasoline has increased 15 times and decreased 11 times; diesel oil has increased 14 times, decreased 11 times and remained unchanged once.

The adjustment of retail gasoline prices is decided by the main traders and distributors, but cannot be made earlier than 3:00 p.m. on June 26, 2025. Gasoline prices according to this announced level will be applied until June 30, 2025.

From July 1, 2025, after making provisions and spending the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for petroleum products, the selling prices of popular petroleum products on the market from 00:00 on July 1, 2025 (the time when Resolution No. 204/2025/QH15 of the National Assembly on reducing value added tax takes effect) are as follows: E5RON92 gasoline is not higher than VND 20,530/liter (down VND 101/liter compared to June 30); RON95-III gasoline is not higher than VND 21,116/liter (down VND 128/liter compared to June 30); 0.05S diesel is not higher than VND 19,349/liter (up VND 193/liter compared to June 30); Kerosene is not higher than 19,604 VND/liter (up 141 VND/liter compared to June 30); 180CST 3.5S mazut is not higher than 16,955 VND/kg (down 688 VND/kg compared to June 30).

The time to apply the new base price will last until the next announcement period of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Enterprises will adjust prices in accordance with the provisions of current Decrees and Circulars on the management of petroleum business and the use of the Price Stabilization Fund.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade will continue to coordinate with relevant agencies to inspect and monitor the implementation of regulations on ensuring petroleum supply, and strictly handle violations if detected.
