Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park: 28 enterprises violated environmental and land protection

According to the report of the Interdisciplinary Inspection Team on compliance with legal regulations in the fields of construction, fire prevention and fighting, tax, land and environmental protection for production and business establishments and factory rental establishments (Interdisciplinary Inspection Team) at Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park, Bien Hoa City, as of June 20, after inspecting 33 enterprises operating in this Industrial Park, 28 enterprises violated environmental and land protection. Of these, 21 enterprises have had their emission sources suspended.

For 5 operating enterprises, no signs of violations have been detected, mainly operating water towers, warehouses, and electricity, with only 1 enterprise operating in production.

According to the Interdisciplinary Inspection Team, the total land use area of ​​33 enterprises operating in Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park is nearly 143 hectares, with a total workforce of about 3,200 people.

Currently, out of the total 33 enterprises operating in Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park, 4 enterprises are dismantling machinery and equipment for relocation (Ton Phuong Nam Company, Vina Cafe Company, Bibica Company, Consumer Goods Company). The remaining enterprises have agreed on the policy of relocation to implement the Project of Converting the function of Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park into an urban - commercial - service area and improving the environment... Currently, these enterprises are waiting for the competent authority to announce the compensation and relocation support plan for coordination in implementation.
