(QNgTV)- Airfare prices for the National Day holiday on September 2 this year have tended to "cool down" compared to a few weeks ago.
On many routes with high demand such as Ho Chi Minh City - Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City - Da Nang, passengers still have many options with more affordable prices. According to ticketing systems, Vietnam Airlines , Vietjet, Bamboo Airways and Vietravel Airlines have opened ticket sales for the Ho Chi Minh City - Hanoi route in large quantities, with significantly reduced prices. This is a "hot" route during holidays and Tet.
Vietnam Airlines is currently selling tickets for departures from August 30 to September 3 at VND1.95 million/flight for economy class, much lower than the VND2.7 - 3.7 million/flight recorded in early August. Notably, there are still many tickets priced at around VND2 million/flight, mainly at night.
On the Ho Chi Minh City – Da Nang route, Vietnam Airlines’ ticket prices have dropped by about VND200,000 compared to last week. Airlines said that thanks to the increase in flights, ticket prices have cooled down.
Vietnam Airlines alone will provide nearly 600,000 seats, equivalent to nearly 2,900 flights, an increase of more than 100,000 seats compared to the same period last year, during the 6 peak days (August 29 - September 3). Of which, the domestic market alone accounts for 418,000 seats, focusing on the routes Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi - Da Nang and flights to Cam Ranh, Da Lat, Hue.
