Domestic gold price remains stable, still nearly 14 million VND/tael higher than world price

At nearly 9:00 a.m., Saigon Jewelry Company listed the price of gold rings of type 1-5 at only 113.5 million VND/tael (buy) - 116 million VND/tael (sell), unchanged from the end of yesterday.

Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited continues to set the price at 114.5 million VND/tael (buy) - 117.5 million VND/tael (sell).

Meanwhile, Phu Quy Group increased by 100,000 VND/tael each way, to 113.3 million VND/tael (buy) - 116.3 million VND/tael (sell).

The price of SJC gold bars also remained unchanged, set by businesses at 116.8-117.5 million VND/tael (buy) and 119.5 million VND/tael (sell).

The buying-selling price range is commonly set by businesses at 2-3 million VND/tael.

Yesterday, at first the gold price did not change, but in the afternoon, the price of SJC gold bars decreased by 200,000 VND/tael each way, the price of gold rings also decreased by a similar amount.

In the international market, early this morning, the price of gold was trading at 3,322 USD/ounce, down 48 USD compared to the peak of last night's session, and down nearly 30 USD/ounce compared to the same time the day before. The price of precious metals fell amid cooling tensions in the Middle East and a sharp drop in crude oil prices.

At 9:00 a.m., the gold price was trading at 3,334.5 USD/ounce, converted to nearly 14 million VND/tael lower than the domestic gold price.
