On the morning of July 22, the price of SJC gold bars was simultaneously listed by businesses at a new high of 120 million VND/tael for buying and 122 million VND/tael for selling, an increase of 800,000 VND per tael compared to yesterday and the highest level in the past few months.
The price of SJC gold bars suddenly increased sharply after many days of stability around 121 million VND/tael.
Similarly, the price of 99.99% gold rings and jewelry gold was also adjusted to increase sharply to 115 million VND/tael for buying and 117.5 million VND/tael for selling, an increase of 800,000 VND per tael compared to yesterday.
SJC gold bar price suddenly skyrocketed
In the international market, the gold price after many days of accumulation above the 3,300 USD/ounce range increased sharply in the trading session last night and early this morning.
At 9:00 a.m., Vietnam time, the world gold price was trading at 3,388 USD/ounce, up more than 30 USD/ounce compared to the previous session.
With this development, the gold price today is at its highest level in many weeks. The decline of the USD is one of the main factors driving the sharp increase in gold prices. The USD Index reversed and fell from the 98-point mark last night and early this morning on the international market, falling deeply to the 97.89-point mark.
Currently, the world gold price converted according to the listed exchange rate is about 107.5 million VND/tael, about 14.5 million VND/tael lower than SJC gold bars.
