In the international market, pepper prices today, June 11, 2025, recorded stability in most pepper varieties, with some markets showing no fluctuations. Global pepper prices are still trading around stable prices recently. According to the International Pepper Community (IPC):

For white pepper:

Muntok white pepper (Indonesia): 10,142 USD/ton (equivalent to 265,924 VND/kg).

Malaysian ASTA white pepper: 11,850 USD/ton (equivalent to 310,707 VND/kg).

Vietnam pepper export price:

Black pepper 500 g/l: 6,300 USD/ton (equivalent to 165,186 VND/kg).

Black pepper 550 g/l: 6,400 USD/ton (equivalent to 167,808 VND/kg).

White pepper: 9,300 USD/ton (equivalent to 243,846 VND/kg).

Pepper price trends in the future

Pepper prices in the domestic market are expected to be ready for a new adjustment in the future. With the current trend, pepper prices are likely to remain in the range of 142,000 - 143,000 VND/kg, in line with current supply and demand.

However, if there are large orders from Europe or the Middle East this week, prices may recover slightly, especially in the 550g/l and white pepper groups. Pepper growers and businesses need to closely monitor to balance inventories and avoid dumping, maintaining profits.

The global pepper market is forecast to remain flat and may increase slightly, although there are still fluctuations in some countries. Indonesian Lampung black pepper prices are listed at 7,437 USD/ton, Muntok white pepper at 10,142 USD/ton. Malaysian pepper prices are stable with ASTA black pepper at 9,150 USD/ton and ASTA white pepper at 11,850 USD/ton.

Brazilian pepper prices remained at $6,150/ton, while Vietnamese pepper export prices remained at $6,300/ton (500g/l), $6,400/ton (550g/l), and $9,300/ton (white pepper). Factors such as the USD exchange rate, international logistics, and import policies from China and India will continue to influence price trends in June.
