Durian price today August 14: Market increases sharply

Durian prices increased sharply today, especially Thai durian and Musang King. Thai durian grade A reached 75,000-95,000 VND/kg, Ri6 grade A 40,000-45,000 VND/kg in Dong Nai, Binh Phuoc, and Dak Lak provinces.

Durian price today August 14 in domestic market

On the morning of August 14, durian prices in many localities continued to increase, especially Thai durian. In Dong Nai, Binh Phuoc , Tay Ninh and Gia Lai, Thai durian type A is commonly priced at 75,000 - 80,000 VND/kg, type B from 55,000 - 60,000 VND/kg. In Dak Lak alone, VIP type is priced at 90,000 VND/kg, while Musang King type A is sold for up to 80,000 VND/kg. Ri6 durian remains more stable, ranging from 40,000 - 44,000 VND/kg for type A and 25,000 - 28,000 VND/kg for type B.

In the Southeast region, Thai VIP durian grade A ranges from 85,000 - 90,000 VND/kg, regular grade A ranges from 75,000 - 78,000 VND/kg. Ri6 grade A ranges from 40,000 - 44,000 VND/kg, grade C ranges from 20,000 - 22,000 VND/kg. In the Central Highlands, prices are higher with Thai VIP durian grade A ranging from 90,000 - 95,000 VND/kg, regular grade A ranging from 78,000 - 85,000 VND/kg, Musang King grade A ranges from 60,000 - 70,000 VND/kg.

Export situation

The 20% US tax on Vietnamese goods is lower than expected (46%), helping businesses reduce concerns and plan their business.
