Meeting to celebrate 65 years of Nghi Son twinning

Implementing the policy of the Politburo, on March 12, 1960, in Thanh Hoa town (now Thanh Hoa city), the twinning ceremony between Thanh Hoa and Quang Nam provinces was solemnly held. Then, under the direction and assignment of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee and Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee, Tinh Gia district (now Nghi Son town) and Dai Loc district organized the twinning ceremony.

Over the past 65 years, the Party Committee, government and people of Nghi Son town and Dai Loc district, under the direct leadership of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee and Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee, have promoted the tradition of ardent patriotism, long-standing cultural traditions, united in support and helped each other to successfully complete the political tasks of the two localities in each historical period.

On the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the twinning, the District Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Fatherland Front Committee of Dai Loc district awarded funding to support the construction of 5 solidarity houses for families in difficult circumstances, each worth 60 million VND; and presented 50 gifts to policy families and families in difficult circumstances in Nghi Son town, each worth 1 million VND.
