Reporter Le Thang
"Fire" of young people
Mr. Khai Hung is in charge of the television field, starting from the Literature Pedagogy major. Perhaps thanks to that, the audience finds the gentleness, closeness, and the feeling of colorful and authentic life through the way he leads in each work. With his own approach from a new perspective, Mr. Hung and his team bring spiritual food to the audience with interesting films, even when approaching familiar topics.
Mr. Hung said that over the years, he has been fortunate to have the agency create conditions for him to learn, improve his professional skills, and improve his qualifications and skills in training courses organized by the Central and the province. From there, there have been innovative initiatives applied to the production of television programs. Practical evidence is that he and the station team have produced many journalistic works that have won high prizes in provincial and regional competitions, the National Television Festival and the national press; contests to compose and promote literary, artistic and journalistic works on the theme "Studying and following the ideology, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh "; the Golden Hammer and Sickle Award of An Giang province...
Despite the many difficulties, he has been working hard for the past 17 years because he loves journalism and the television sector he is in charge of. “My biggest motivation is that after completing documentaries, video clips or reports... the works are shown at cultural events and celebrations of the province, many people watch and sympathize. There are characters who are moved when reviewing their documentary images and interviews. It is even more joyful when the works are broadcast on the radio, spread on social networks, and are interacted and shared by a large audience,” Hung expressed.
In the same generation as Mr. Khai Hung, reporter Le Thang has been in charge of the radio field for 18 years. Mr. Thang believes that journalism is accepting to "commit" and work hard to create the most perfect "brainchildren". Quality radio works, in addition to investing effort, time, and intelligence, must also meet the requirements of novelty and high topicality... to attract listeners. "Many people compare journalism to the profession of "serving a hundred families". For me, this profession brings valuable experiences, with trips, witnessing and contemplating every movement of life, helping me to become more mature" - Mr. Thang shared.
Putting aside the hardships of his job, the beautiful memories that Mr. Le Thang has kept in the past are the trips to the Bay Nui region to enjoy traditional dishes of the Khmer ethnic minority, feeling the sincerity and hospitality of the people. Or going up to the upstream area with the people to pick water lilies, sesbania, catch linh fish to cook a meaningful dinner. For him, each land he sets foot on, the people he meets, the stories he hears and the radio works he creates from the material of life... are all memorable memories. He also collects and conveys good things into his works, affirming the quality through journalism competitions launched by the province, region and Central Government and achieving many high achievements. Most recently, he won the A prize with the work "Learning from Uncle Ho multiplies good things" at the contest to compose and promote literary, artistic and journalistic works on the theme "Studying and following the ideology, morality and style of Uncle Ho and Uncle Ton" in An Giang province, period 2024 - 2025.

Journalism and innovation
Journalism, like any other profession in society, has its ups and downs, difficulties, and without enthusiasm and love for the profession, people in the profession will easily become discouraged and give up. Faced with the innovation of modern journalism, the team of journalists, especially young journalists, have the responsibility to pioneer in adapting and exploiting the superior advantages of technology to serve their professional work. Journalism and artificial intelligence AI are the most interested topics. According to Mr. Khai Hung, in addition to the knowledge and skills accumulated from specialized training courses, practical life, etc., journalists today must also know how to master technology and effectively exploit AI to serve journalistic works.
Keeping up with trends does not mean following trends and techniques, which can easily bore readers. This wave of innovation also has many challenges, requiring journalists to maintain a firm point of view and stance, stay alert to multi-dimensional information flows, verify and select appropriately. Each story must be thoroughly researched, finding highlights and new perspectives; each film clip must be carefully and meticulously invested. The understanding and empathy from the author himself is the material that fully conveys emotions to the audience.
Sharing the same view, Mr. Le Thang believes that, in addition to the efforts of each individual, the journalism team really needs to be trained, exchange expertise, especially access to new technologies and tools to help make journalism more effective. However, no matter how superior the technology is, the nature of journalism requires those involved to always have a strong political stance and clear professional ethics. Those who are living fully with journalism also believe that in the coming time, the "lean, compact, strong" revolution will take place effectively, and the mainstream press will affirm and enhance its position and role in reflecting information, propagating policies, connecting and spreading positive messages in society.
