The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of An Giang province awarded funds to support the repair of 6 "Front's Gratitude" houses to localities.

Member of the Provincial Standing Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang province Dang Thi Hoa Ray chaired the conference. Vice Chairwoman of the An Giang Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy attended.

In the first 6 months of 2025, the Fatherland Front system at all levels in the province coordinated with member organizations and functional branches to focus on propagating and mobilizing people of all walks of life to implement the Party's guidelines and policies and laws of the State; propagating and mobilizing people to participate in responding to emulation movements and campaigns launched by the Central and the province.

The Fund for the Poor at all levels has received contributions from organizations and individuals inside and outside the province, with a total value of nearly 240 billion VND. From mobilized funds, over 177 billion VND has been spent to support social security activities and care for the poor. In addition, over 5.5 billion VND has been spent on building and repairing rural bridges, spreading sand, stone, concrete and asphalt on rural roads, installing street lights...; visiting and supporting households affected by fires, landslides, and storms in the province, with a total amount of 338 million VND...

In the coming time, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels will continue to coordinate with mass organizations, socio-political organizations, and local authorities to promote propaganda and mobilize people to effectively implement national target programs in the province; campaigns and patriotic emulation movements launched by the Front. Actively mobilize resources to support the Fund for the Poor, take care of social security, join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses; promptly commend, honor, and reward exemplary individuals and organizations in the work for the poor and social security. In addition, effectively implement the work of social supervision and criticism; improve the efficiency and quality of people's foreign affairs activities...

On this occasion, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front awarded the "For the Great National Unity" Medal to individuals who have worked and contributed to the cause of building the great national unity bloc and the work of the Front.
