Provincial People's Procuracy held a meeting to celebrate its traditional day

On the afternoon of June 19, the People's Procuracy of An Giang province held a meeting to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the People's Procuracy's Traditional Day (July 26, 1960 - July 26, 2025); the 49th anniversary of the establishment of the People's Procuracy of An Giang province (April 23, 1976 - April 23, 2025) and awarded the President's Labor Medal, Class II, for the second time to the General Office of the People's Procuracy of An Giang province. Former Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of An Giang province Le Van Nung, and representatives of leaders of a number of departments and branches attended.

Over 49 years of establishment and development, the People's Procuracy of An Giang province has always maintained its central role in protecting the law, protecting human rights, citizens' rights, maintaining political security, social order and safety, especially in the fight against corruption, negativity, practicing the right to prosecute, and supervising judicial activities with increasing quality. Many major and complicated cases have been handled strictly and in accordance with the law, contributing positively to the fight against crime in the province, making an important contribution to the cause of building and developing An Giang to become more and more beautiful and civilized.

On this occasion, many collectives and individuals received certificates of merit from the Supreme People's Procuracy for their outstanding achievements in the movement "The whole country competes to build a learning society, promoting lifelong learning in the period 2023 - 2030".
