Accordingly, on July 18, the People's Committee of Ha Long Ward coordinated with Viettel Military Telecommunications Group - Quang Ninh Branch to launch a program to guide and support people in registering and using personal digital signatures. This is a practical technological solution to serve people in performing online administrative procedures at levels 3 and 4, signing electronically and receiving results of procedures online quickly, conveniently and safely.
The popularization of digital signatures for Ha Long ward residents will help improve the quality of online public services throughout the process, while providing personalized digital services based on citizen data. Thereby, significantly reducing the time and cost of administrative procedures; creating favorable conditions for people to participate in digital transactions regardless of administrative boundaries. Aiming for each citizen to have a digital account, digital skills, creating a foundation for forming digital citizens - one of the important pillars to promote sustainable development in the digital age.
In the spirit of "clear thinking, high determination, great efforts, and drastic actions", Ha Long ward will continue to strengthen direction, supervision, and evaluation of service quality for people and businesses in implementing administrative procedures and public services based on data and accountability of state agencies and competent persons in serving the people.
According to statistics from the Ward People's Committee, from July 1 (the official time of operation of the 2-level local government model), by the end of July 17, the ward had received 609 records, forwarded 8 records; of which 455 records were resolved on time and before the deadline (accounting for 75%), 162 records are being processed. The satisfaction level in receiving and resolving administrative procedures of people and businesses reached over 98%.
