Accordingly, a small group described as foreigners were said to be on their way home after watching Suga's solo concert held at Case Po Dome in Songpa-gu, Seoul on the same evening.

The group watched Suga's live broadcast on social network Weverse and screamed with excitement after seeing the idol show off the number 7 tattoo on his shoulder blade.

Nearby passengers were also panicked, not understanding why this group of people suddenly started screaming, causing chaos in the train car.

In the latest developments, a witness confirmed to SBS News: "It was not a weapon or biochemical attack at Sinnonhyeon Station. So please do not create an atmosphere of fear with false information.

The foreigner next to me screamed while watching a video . The subway was packed with passengers and chaotic, so people misunderstood and ran away. I reported it to the police."

People present at the scene of the incident also requested to see CCTV footage taken from the location and claimed to only hear the real cause from the police report.

However, the police have yet to make a final conclusion about what led to the chaos on the evening of August 6.

Therefore, Suga fans in particular and BTS fans in general are demanding an apology from the media outlets that reported the false news.

The keywords "Apologize to BTS" and "Respect BTS" are currently trending on many social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook.

BTS's management company also remained silent after the incident.

Previously, SBS News reported that after the chaos broke out, 16 fire trucks, 52 firefighters and a large number of special police officers were mobilized.

When the train stopped at Sinnonhyeon Station for a police inspection, passengers pushed each other to get out. A group of people fell down the stairs, leaving seven people with bruises and cuts.

After checking and finding nothing unusual, the police withdrew, taking the six injured to the hospital. The remaining person suffered minor injuries and returned home. Subway Line 9 services have been reconnected and are operating again.
