Mr. Pham Thanh Vu, Chairman of the Board of Directors, General Director of Thanh Vu Medic Bac Lieu General Hospital said that, based on the desire to put community health first, the hospital decided to invest more than 46 billion VND to equip the 3.0 Tesla MRI system (Philips Ingenia Elition). This system will support doctors to diagnose quickly, accurately and detect early lesions with many complex diseases such as: Neurology, blood vessels, cancer and stroke .
The 3.0 Tesla MRI system does not use X-rays or radioactive substances, so it has a high level of biological safety, especially for patients who need multiple diagnostic scans, while also saving significant costs.
3.0 Tesla MRI system - AI technology for screening and early diagnosis of stroke. Integrated Al supports accurate imaging and diagnosis of neurological, vascular, cancer and stroke diseases. Examination of blood vessels in the body without the use of contrast agents. Early detection of many types of cancer, even when the disease has not yet shown clinical symptoms.
Full body scan to screen for many diseases such as: Brain, nerves, cardiovascular, spine, liver, gallbladder, kidney, prostate, obstetrics and gynecology, musculoskeletal system... Screening, early and effective detection of metastatic lesions in cancer patients - a safe, cost-effective option that can replace PET - CT.
Mr. Vu Duc Nhat, General Director of Philips Vietnam, said that the MRI 3.0 Tesla system installed at Thanh Vu Medic Bac Lieu General Hospital is integrated with AI to support more accurate and faster diagnosis with an automated workflow. This is the first modern system available in Bac Lieu province, as well as the Ca Mau peninsula.
