The procession along Nguyen Hue walking street, passing by iconic buildings of Ho Chi Minh City such as Ho Chi Minh City Theater, Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee... attracted the attention of many people.

Many people who did not participate in the parade, also dressed in colorful Vietnamese costumes, gathered around Nguyen Hue Street to watch and take souvenir photos.

Kieu Oanh (born 2002, Phu Nhuan district) woke up at 4am, prepared her clothes and makeup to participate in the festival. Kieu Oanh said that for many years, she has been interested in Vietnamese costumes. On this occasion, she was very happy to participate in the "Bach Hoa Walking" in Ho Chi Minh City.

"I want to recreate the image of Nguyen Dynasty women, wearing Ao Tac and Non Ba Tam. I had to rent some accessories from Binh Duong . I rented the costumes for 500,000 VND/day, the hats for 100,000 VND/day and hired a photographer to take beautiful photos today," Kieu Oanh shared.

She also said that when she came to Nguyen Hue walking street, she was happy and moved to see many young people showing love for Vietnamese traditional costumes.

Among the crowd of people wearing colorful Vietnamese costumes, many children were also brought to the festival by their parents. Ms. Thanh Tam (born in 1992, Go Vap) and her husband and 8-month-old daughter wore ao dai and watched the parade.

"We registered to join the parade, but we couldn't because there were too many people registering. However, we still wore Ao Dai to come here and watch the parade. I brought my daughter to take some beautiful photos for her. Those will be memorable memories for her in the future," Ms. Tam shared.

Similarly, Ms. Le Thi Phuoc (82 years old, District 8) was taken by her son and daughter-in-law to Nguyen Hue walking street to join in the bustling crowd.

Despite her advanced age, Mrs. Phuoc still did not hesitate to move around Nguyen Hue walking street to watch the parade. She shared that seeing people gathered together made her feel happier. Mrs. Phuoc also did not forget to show off that the ao dai she was wearing was a very precious dress that was custom-made in Hoi An.

"Everyone is wearing nice clothes today. Vietnamese costumes are so beautiful," said Mrs. Phuoc.

Witnessing the "Hundred Flowers Walking" parade, many foreign tourists also had to stop and watch. Many people were excited and asked permission to take photos with the Vietnamese people wearing Vietnamese costumes.
