Domestic pepper prices tomorrow (July 17) are expected to continue to move sideways, remaining in the range of 139,000 - 141,000 VND/kg. However, if purchasing power from export enterprises improves and there is no pressure to sell off goods from international hedge funds, some provinces such as Dak Lak or Dak Nong may increase slightly by about 500 VND/kg. The current price level is much higher than the same period last year, also creating pressure for short-term profit-taking risks.

Forecast of world pepper price tomorrow 7/17/2025

Despite competitive pressure from Brazil and Indonesia, Vietnamese pepper still maintains its export strength thanks to a good logistics system, high processing capacity and diverse products. In the first 6 months of 2025, Vietnam exported about 137,000 tons of pepper, earning 556 million USD. Although output decreased by more than 14% compared to the same period last year, turnover increased by 5.3%, showing a clear improvement in export value.

Notably, Vietnam’s pepper export prices have increased by about $200 per ton over the past week, largely due to the leverage of US tariffs on Brazilian pepper. However, the new agreement with Indonesia has not had a major impact.

In the global market, pepper prices today fluctuated slightly in the world market. Pepper prices decreased slightly in Indonesia and Brazil. According to information from the International Pepper Community (IPC):
