Dong Nai organizes national walking activity 'Moving forward with Vietnam'

According to the plan, the walking activity "Moving forward with Vietnam" aims to promote the patriotism and solidarity of the people of Dong Nai province, celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution, National Day September 2 and the Traditional Day of the Vietnam People's Public Security (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025); encourage the sports movement, respond to the campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho". At the same time, strengthen the bond between the People's Public Security soldiers and the people, contributing to building a beautiful image of the Public Security soldiers in the hearts of the people.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc requested to ensure that 100% of communes and wards across the province respond to and implement the event "Moving Forward with Vietnam". Organize the event solemnly, safely, economically and mobilize social resources. Mobilize a large number of cadres, civil servants, public employees and the masses to participate.

The event will take place from 5:00 to 7:30 a.m. on August 16, 2025 (Saturday). The provincial center location is at the Dong Nai Provincial Sports Training and Competition Center, No. 5 Nguyen Ai Quoc, Tan Trieu Ward.

Along with that, at the grassroots level, 95 communes and wards across Dong Nai province will simultaneously choose a central location in the locality to organize.

According to the plan, the travel route at the provincial center will start from the gate of Dong Nai Province Sports Training and Competition Center to the intersection between Nguyen Ai Quoc Street and Phan Dinh Phung Street and vice versa (3km). At the grassroots point, the People's Committee of the commune and ward will decide, ensuring a travel route of 2-3km.

Regarding uniforms, cadres, soldiers, union members, association members and people participating in the activity "Moving Forward with Vietnam" are encouraged to wear red flag shirts with yellow stars.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc assigned the Provincial Police to preside over and advise the Provincial People's Committee to direct and implement the plan's contents. Preside over and coordinate with the Representative Office of Nhan Dan Newspaper in Dong Nai and relevant agencies to prepare and ensure the necessary conditions for organizing the event at the provincial location; coordinate with the Provincial Military Command to have a plan to ensure security, order, traffic safety, fire prevention and fighting at the event locations.

The provincial police are responsible for directing the police of communes and wards to report to local Party committees and authorities to deploy activities simultaneously; develop plans to combine events with propaganda and dissemination of legal education to the people.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism directs the Provincial Sports Training and Competition Center to arrange the venue, assign staff to coordinate and support the organization of the activity; and directs the promotion of the activity.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested relevant departments, branches and People's Committees of communes and wards to urgently implement this plan in accordance with the practical situation of the locality. At the same time, mobilize all classes of people to participate in the event.
