Dong Nai supports border schools before the new school year

On the afternoon of August 29, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province coordinated with the provincial Department of Education and Training to receive computers and learning tools from agencies and units to support schools in border areas before the new school year with a total value of more than 1.6 billion VND.

Representatives of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province and the Department of Education and Training received a symbolic board of computers and learning tools.

Accordingly, Dong Nai University of Technology supported 90 sets of computers with a total value of 1.05 billion VND; Lac Hong University and Lac Hong Primary-Middle-High School supported 40 sets of computers, tables and chairs, network equipment and accompanying electronic supplies worth 300 million VND.

The Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association donated 200 gifts worth 200 million VND and Dong Nai Book and School Equipment Joint Stock Company donated books and stationery worth more than 100 million VND.

Dong Nai University of Technology donated computers worth more than 1 billion VND.

Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province Nguyen Tan Phu expressed his gratitude to schools, units and businesses for accompanying the province in sharing difficulties and supporting schools in border areas in the area.

At the same time, he committed to coordinate with the Department of Education and Training to deliver to schools in 8 communes in the western border area of ​​the province, contributing to helping disadvantaged children have more favorable conditions in studying during the opening of the new school year.

The units wish to continue to be closely associated and accompany Dong Nai province for a long time in supporting schools in the 8 border communes in the coming time, through specific, meaningful and practical activities.

Representative of Dong Nai Province Young Entrepreneurs Association presented a symbolic board of 200 gifts worth 200 million VND in support.

A representative of the Dong Nai Department of Education and Training said that in addition to the above sponsored gifts, on the occasion of the opening of the 2025-2026 school year, Dong Nai provincial leaders will present 950 gifts (1 million VND/gift) to students in difficult circumstances in the area.

In addition, benefactors and sponsors from various sectors and localities will also join hands to support and help students in remote and disadvantaged areas go to school.
