Dong Giang honors 24 collectives and individuals in the patriotic emulation movement

DNO - On August 22, Dong Giang Commune People's Committee held the first advanced model conference, period 2020 - 2025.

In the period of 2020 - 2025, Dong Giang commune has carried out well the emulation movements "Joining hands for the poor - Leaving no one behind"; the emulation movement "Dong Giang joins hands to build new rural areas" in the period of 2021 - 2025; the emulation movement to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the area in the period of 2023 - 2025; the model of "four good" party cells, "four good" party committees; the emulation movement for the whole people to build a cultural life...

The economy in Dong Giang commune has had impressive growth. The total value of agricultural, forestry and fishery production of the commune is estimated at 240 billion VND, with an average growth rate of 11.2% per year. The value of industrial, handicraft and construction production is 202 billion VND; the value of service and trade production is over 240 billion VND. The total budget revenue in the commune is over 47 billion VND.

The whole commune has 32 garden economic models; 271 households participate in value chain production linkage projects such as: black pigs, cows, spotted deer for velvet, cinnamon, jackfruit, Morinda officinalis, durian... bringing stable income. Average income per capita reaches 42 million VND/person/year; 353 temporary houses have been eliminated; the poverty rate is estimated to decrease to 24.7% (reducing 167 households/630 poor households) by the end of 2025...
