According to the Daily Mail, the US Geological Survey (USGS) said a 5.1-magnitude earthquake occurred in northern Iran on June 20 amid Israel's continuous airstrikes on the country.
Meanwhile, according to Iranian state television, the earthquake had a magnitude of 5.5 and "shook the area around the city of Sorkheh in Semnan province".

The quake was also felt in the capital Tehran, about 150 km from Sorkheh.
The official IRNA news agency reported no casualties and only "minimal damage" in the recent earthquake.
Earlier in the day, Iran launched a massive missile attack on Israel. Buildings in the Israeli port city of Haifa were badly damaged, with windows blown out by Iranian ballistic missiles. Large plumes of smoke rose from Tel Aviv and the Negev after these areas were also hit.
The Israel-Iran conflict broke out on June 13 and shows no signs of abating. In the latest developments on June 21, the Israeli military said a nationwide alert had been issued "after detecting a missile launched from Iran."
“At this time, the (Israeli) military is making every effort to intercept and strike wherever necessary to eliminate the threat,” the report said.
