Speaking at the event, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Dien emphasized that over the years, under the leadership and direction of the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense and the Chinese Ministry of Public Security , the Border Guard of Cao Bang province and the General Border Control Station of Guangxi province have always actively and closely coordinated, strictly implementing the three legal documents on borders, the cooperation agreement on establishing a three-level law enforcement coordination mechanism in border control at border gates and land border management, the minutes of talks on strengthening cooperation in border law enforcement at land border areas and border gates, and the common understandings at the talks between the Border Guards of the four provinces of Cao Bang, Quang Ninh, Lang Son, and Ha Giang and the General Border Control Station of Guangxi province.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Dien assessed that since it was signed in January 2014, the program "Joining hands to build friendship stations, building peaceful border gates together" between Ta Lung International Border Guard Station and Thuy Khau Immigration Control Station has continuously improved the effectiveness of coordination in immigration management, crime prevention and control, and maintaining security and order in the areas on both sides of the border and border gates.

The two sides have well implemented the signed contents; actively advised local authorities to promote many exchange and cooperation activities in the fields of economy , culture and society, thereby contributing to maintaining security and order in border areas and border gates, building a peaceful, friendly, cooperative and developing border.

At the ceremony, representatives of the Ta Lung International Border Guard Station and Thuy Khau Immigration Border Guard Station signed a Memorandum of Understanding on exchange and cooperation "Joining hands to build friendship stations and stations, together building a peaceful border gate".

Accordingly, the two sides agreed to continue to strengthen the mechanism of quarterly consultations, organize "citizen reception days", coordinate the implementation of bilateral patrol activities, disseminate immigration laws of each country, improve the level of border gate inspection and control, discuss the establishment of a mechanism to quickly return illegal immigrants, exchange experiences in political work, borderless health care, promote innovation in village-commune friendship activities...
