Faced with the increasingly high demands of the A80 mission - the parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2, the HC-KT units throughout the army have proactively reviewed and adjusted their regular logistics plans to focus on giving the highest priority to this particularly important task. Logistics plans have been deployed in a systematic, scientific and meticulous manner, from eating, staying, living to transporting troops and logistics supplies. Pre-processing areas, dining halls, and prefabricated kitchens have been arranged reasonably in clusters, responding quickly, neatly, ensuring nutritional standards and food hygiene and safety.

Major General Huynh Tan Hung, Deputy Director of the General Department of Logistics and Engineering, Deputy Head of the A80 Parade Subcommittee of the Ministry of National Defense, inspected the meals of the parade forces.

In order to ensure the health and physical strength of soldiers in conditions of high intensity and long-term training, logistics units have actively innovated the menu, focusing on improving the quality of dishes in the direction of diversity and taste suitable for the region. Food is carefully selected from reputable sources, ensuring high quality, freshness, and clear origin.

Major Cao Minh Giang, Quartermaster Assistant, Quartermaster Department, HC-KT Department, Special Forces Corps shared: “We thoroughly understand the spirit of serving the A80 mission as a central political mission. Each meal ration is calculated specifically and in detail so that soldiers can practice with peace of mind, ready to enter the rehearsal and official ceremony in the best physical and mental state. Special attention is paid to innovating dishes to make them attractive, rich in nutrients, suitable for the season, and enhancing essential groups of substances such as protein, vitamins, and fiber.”

Ms. Hoang Thi Kim Anh, from the Military Medical Officers' Block, said: "I have participated in many training courses, but this time I really saw a comprehensive change in the quality of logistics. The menu is adjusted every day, ensuring no duplication, the dishes from vegetables, soup to main dishes are all harmonious and delicious. Shrimp fried with garlic butter and beef stir-fried with mushrooms are very popular with women because they have enough protein and are easy to digest."

Not only focusing on the quality of the dishes, the kitchens also strictly implement the process of ensuring food hygiene and safety, from receiving, preparing, cooking to dividing meals. All food sources must be fresh every day, with clear origins, the rice used for cooking must be ST25 of high standards, absolutely do not use frozen foods past the specified date or drinks not on the prescribed list.

Major General Huynh Tan Hung, Deputy Director of the General Department of Logistics and Engineering, Deputy Head of the Parade and Parade Task A80 Subcommittee of the Ministry of National Defense, inspected the progress of the construction of prefabricated houses to arrange kitchens.

Along with the feeding work, the environmental sanitation, waste treatment, and water supply issues are implemented strictly and seriously. Waste is collected and transported twice a day, coordinated with specialized treatment units to remove it from the barracks area. The training and living environment is always clean and tidy, ensuring the "3 clean" conditions - clean eating places, clean sleeping places, clean training areas.

Major General Huynh Tan Hung, Deputy Director of the General Department of Personnel and Technical Services, directly inspected and directed the logistics support work for the A80 mission, emphasizing: “The General Department clearly identifies that the A80 mission is a particularly important political mission. Therefore, logistics support work must be carried out with the highest sense of responsibility, carefully calculating each meal, training time, health, and living conditions so that the troops have the best physical and mental condition to enter the rehearsal and official ceremony. We require agencies and units to feed the troops scientifically - serve wholeheartedly - ensure absolute safety. Not only must the food be nutritious, it must also be delicious, suitable for taste and appropriate for the season and region.”

The working group inspected the food security work of the Navy Parade Bloc.

In the coming time, the kitchens will continue to innovate dishes, diversify high-quality foods for meals. At the same time, soldiers will be given more orange juice, squeezed tangerine juice, cooling leaf water, effervescent vitamin C, electrolyte water, etc. to rehydrate, increase resistance and fight fatigue in conditions of prolonged hot training. The HC-KT force prepares carefully, thoughtfully, and meticulously down to the smallest detail to truly be a spiritual motivation, a solid rear, contributing to ensuring the health, will, and determination for soldiers to successfully complete the A80 mission - a particularly important political mission of the entire army in 2025.
