Right from the beginning of the emulation period, the Party Committee and Command of Division 9, Corps 34 focused on leading and directing the comprehensive implementation of tasks, in which the focus was on combat readiness and training. Each plan and strategy of the unit was reviewed, supplemented, and closely practiced. The system of combat documents, forces, and means was adjusted, inspected, and ensured compliance with regulations, ready to promptly handle any situations that may arise. In addition, the training work of the Division was seriously implemented, according to plan, ensuring content, program, close to combat reality and targets.

Units promote competition in each lesson, each class hour, each subject is organized scientifically , effectively, with strict inspection and evaluation. In the drill of the squad to capture the target with obstacles organized in mid-June 2025, officers and soldiers of the unit promoted the spirit of initiative, close coordination, decisive action, flexible handling, and completed the task well. Notably, in the inspection at the end of training of new soldiers, 100% of the Division's new soldiers met the requirements, of which more than 80% were good and excellent, clearly reflecting the quality of training and the overall maturity of the troops.

Colonel Nguyen Huu Thang, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of Division 9, shared: “In May 2025, the Division completed the Party cell congress for the 2025-2027 term, the Party unit and grassroots Party committees for the 2025-2030 term, ensuring the correct principles, procedures, time, and high quality. The preparation of documents and personnel was carried out seriously, promoting democracy, collective intelligence, and closely linking political requirements and unit practices. The presentations at the congress closely followed the situation and tasks, clearly demonstrating a sense of responsibility and innovation in thinking and action. 100% of the Party cell secretaries and deputy secretaries, Party unit and grassroots Party committees were elected with a high number of votes of confidence, demonstrating consensus and solidarity within the entire Party Committee."

Honored and proud to be one of the outstanding young party members attending the congress, Lieutenant Pham Dinh Khai (Company 2, Battalion 4, Regiment 2) shared: “It is a great honor to attend the Congress of the Party Committee of Division 9. I deeply feel the role of a party member. To be worthy of the vote of confidence of the organization and comrades, I must always set an example in studying, working, training and observing discipline.”

This congress also had young party members participating for the first time. Private Le Van Men, a soldier of Company 3, Battalion 1, Regiment 1, shared: “I am well aware that attending the Division Party Congress is a great honor, and at the same time, a responsibility of a party member. This is an opportunity for me to learn and practice my political mettle, to gain a deeper understanding of the Party's leadership role and the duties of a party member in the Army. From then on, I reminded myself to strive harder, to live up to the oath I took when joining the Party.”

Propaganda activities, political and ideologicaleducation , thematic political activities, youth forums, culture and arts are organized regularly, rich in form and profound in content. Models such as "5 proactive measures in ideological management", "One question a day", "Hobby groups", "Artisan Youth Union" ... continue to be maintained in a regular and effective manner, contributing to building a healthy cultural environment, a spirit of solidarity, democracy and responsibility throughout the unit.

Regarding logistics and technical work, agencies and units actively responded to the emulation movement with many specific and practical actions. In particular, focusing on ensuring a good life for soldiers, promoting increased production, taking care of soldiers' health, and implementing epidemic prevention and control well. Basic logistics targets were all achieved and exceeded the plan, in which the output of green vegetables, meat and fish was self-sufficient at over 90%, the quality of meals was improved, reasonable and economical. At the same time, ensuring adequate weapons and technical equipment for training and combat readiness tasks, organizing inspection, maintenance and repair of hundreds of vehicles, weapons and equipment in accordance with procedures, safety and synchronization.

The emulation movement to welcome the 13th Party Congress of Division 9 is taking place extensively, comprehensively, and synchronously in all aspects of work. This is a broad political activity, contributing to improving the overall quality, fighting strength, and comprehensive maturity of each collective and each individual. Promoting the heroic tradition, officers and soldiers of Division 9 are determined to compete to excellently complete all assigned tasks, build a clean and strong Party organization, a comprehensively strong unit that is "exemplary and typical", contributing to building a revolutionary, disciplined, elite, and gradually modern Vietnam People's Army, successfully completing the task of protecting the Fatherland in the new situation.
