In the context of global e-commerce continuing to boom, playing a key role in the national digital transformation process, the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy, Ministry of Industry and Trade , will host the "Vietnam E-commerce and Digital Technology Application Forum 2025" taking place on September 5 in Ho Chi Minh City.
The event is part of the Vietnam International Sourcing 2025 Exhibition, expected to gather nearly 600 domestic and foreign booths, with the participation of many international business delegations from the United States, China, France, Singapore, Malaysia and other key markets.
This year’s forum continues to affirm its role as a “strategic meeting place” for the Vietnamese e-commerce and digital technology community. Not only providing a panoramic view of global e-commerce trends, the event also creates a practical connection space for international organizations and Vietnamese enterprises to promote products, expand export markets, cooperate in investment and improve competitiveness.
In particular, the participation of big names such as Amazon Global Selling, Shopee, Tiktok Shop, ViettelPost, Vietnam Post, JD Logistics, Fado, Sendo Farm, Taureau AI (France) ... and many international partners will help domestic enterprises access the most advanced solutions to optimize supply chains, logistics operations and marketing strategies in the field of e-commerce in general.
Within the framework of the Forum, at The Adora Premium Convention Center (next to SECC Center), morning and afternoon thematic conferences will take place in turn. Specifically, the E-commerce Conference "Diversifying export markets and Applying digital technology for Vietnamese enterprises" will be held.
Here, experts and leading platform representatives will share content on exporting via e-commerce to markets such as the US, ASEAN, China, Europe as well as solutions applying AI, digital technology and data to improve export efficiency, especially for small and medium enterprises.
Along with that is the Conference "Panorama Forum on E-commerce and Cross-border E-commerce - Directions for Vietnamese Export Enterprises," focusing on updating the current trends of e-commerce development in the domestic market and cross-border e-commerce. In addition, introducing modern logistics models, technology solutions to support supply chain management and lessons learned from domestic and international experts and enterprises.
According to Mr. Bui Huy Hoang, Deputy Director of the Center for E-commerce and Digital Technology Development (eComDX) - Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy (Ministry of Industry and Trade), at this forum, the content of cooperation in building and organizing training programs, connecting e-commerce for Vietnamese enterprises abroad such as China, Singapore, Korea, the United States ... together with the Alliance for Cross-Border E-Commerce (ACBC), major international partners will also be mentioned, as a premise to support Vietnamese export enterprises to improve their capacity to self-operate cross-border e-commerce in the next phase.
Vietnam's e-commerce market is growing impressively, reaching a scale of 25 billion USD by 2024, a 20% increase over the previous year and ranking in the top 3 in Southeast Asia.
This year's event is expected to not only provide a strategic perspective on e-commerce market trends, but also be a "push" to help Vietnamese businesses be more proactive in the process of building brands, improving management capacity and breaking through in the global e-commerce playground.
