Hung Yen - Thai Binh enterprises connect for development

On June 11, in Van Giang district, Hung Yen province, the Business Associations of Hung Yen and Thai Binh provinces organized an experience sharing exchange. Comrade Nguyen Le Huy, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee and representatives of the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) attended.

This is the second time the Business Associations of the two provinces have organized a meeting to exchange experiences for members to exchange and learn about the potential and investment strengths in the localities; study the similarities to seek cooperation opportunities to develop the business community of the two provinces as well as the new Hung Yen province in the coming time. The leaders of the Business Associations of the two provinces affirmed their support for the policy of arranging and merging Hung Yen and Thai Binh provinces; at the same time, actively coordinate to develop a project to merge the two associations, and submit it to the competent authorities for approval as soon as possible.

Speaking at the meeting, the Standing Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hung Yen province informed about the socio -economic development situation of Hung Yen province in the first 6 months of 2025; encouraged the Business Associations of the two provinces to continue to actively coordinate, prepare necessary conditions, soon complete the merger project, and put it into operation on schedule to promote the role of the new Hung Yen Business Association in protecting the rights of members; participate in mobilizing and advising on the development of policies and laws to support the development of the business community.
