Delegation of Hua Phan province (Lao PDR) visited and wished a Happy New Year to Quang Ninh province

On January 12, a delegation from Hua Phan province (Lao PDR) led by comrade Kham Pheng Xay Xom Pheng, member of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Governor of Hua Phan province, visited and extended New Year greetings to the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Quang Ninh province. Welcoming the delegation were comrades: Vu Dai Thang, member of the Central Party Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Pham Duc An, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

In the atmosphere of comradeship and brotherhood, comrade Vu Dai Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, expressed his joy at welcoming the high-ranking delegation of Hua Phan province. Recalling the special friendship between Vietnam and Laos and the two provinces of Quang Ninh and Hua Phan, the Provincial Party Secretary emphasized: Vietnam and Laos are two neighboring countries with mountains and rivers connected by a strip of land, the brotherly relationship between the two peoples of Vietnam and Laos has been formed and nurtured over thousands of years of history. On the basis of that good relationship, the special traditional friendship between the Party Committee, government and people of Quang Ninh and Hua Phan provinces has been diligently cultivated by many generations of leaders and people of the two provinces, always maintained firmly, faithfully and purely.

Comrade Kham Pheng Xay Xom Pheng, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Governor of Hua Phan Province, sent his best wishes to the Party Committee, Government and people of Quang Ninh Province on the occasion of the New Year of At Ty 2025.

Over the past time, under the leadership of the two Parties and the two Governments of Vietnam and Laos, the Party committees, authorities, officers and soldiers of the armed forces and the people of the two provinces have always promoted the tradition of solidarity and special friendship, strengthening comprehensive cooperation in the fields of socio -economy, national defense and security. In particular, in recent years, Quang Ninh province has always done its best to contribute to fostering the great relationship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos, especially supporting infrastructure development, education, human resource training, and epidemic prevention. Currently, Quang Ninh province is focusing on implementing the cooperation contents of the 2022-2026 period between Quang Ninh province and Hua Phan province.

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Vu Dai Thang hopes that the two provinces of Quang Ninh and Hua Phan will continue to promote and inherit the results achieved in the past time and actively build the solidarity and friendship between the people of the two provinces of Quang Ninh and Hua Phan, contributing to nurturing and bringing the special friendship, solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos to new heights.

Comrade Kham Pheng Xay Xom Pheng, member of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Governor of Hua Phan Province, sincerely thanked the provincial leaders for their warm welcome and hospitality for the delegation as well as the great support of the Party Committee, government and people of Quang Ninh Province for Hua Phan Province over the past years. He affirmed that such sincere and meaningful support has made an important contribution to the development of Hua Phan Province.

Delegation from Hua Phan province (Lao PDR) visited Viet Dan Primary and Secondary School (Viet Dan commune, Dong Trieu city).

He hoped that in the coming time, the two sides would continue to strengthen cooperation in the fields of Party building, education and training, tourism, industry, agriculture ; pay attention to investing in implementing projects and plans for socio-economic development. Thereby, continuing to deepen the special friendship between Laos and Vietnam in general and Hua Phan - Quang Ninh in particular.
