Hello Quynh Nga, I heard that you will be one of the actors and artists participating in the pickleball tournament “Dan Tri 20 years – Bright new day”. How do you feel before the tournament?
- I myself am just a beginner in pickleball, so I am still a bit worried about participating in this tournament because my skills are still very "rookie". However, I think this is a tournament with the nature of fun exchange between artists, participating in the spirit of sportsmanship is the main thing, so the match between everyone will be very interesting.

I also hope that when I enter the field, I can also block the ball and not slip. But I also hope everyone will be gentle with Quynh Nga (laughs).
So how long has Quynh Nga been playing pickleball?
- Actually, I have known about this sport for a long time, but due to my busy work schedule, I don't have much time to practice. There are times when I can only practice one or two sessions, then I have to go on a business trip and take a long break. I practice a few techniques, then take a long break and forget everything.
It's only been about a month since I've been able to play more regularly. But I'd like to remind you to go easy on Quynh Nga, if you hit her too hard she won't be able to defend.
Before playing pickleball, did Quynh Nga play any other sports?
- If any sport involves a ball or racket, moving fast and strong like this, I rarely played it before. So when I came to pickleball, it was mainly out of curiosity and when I got on the field, I found this sport quite interesting. The pickleball ball is not as heavy as a tennis ball or spins as much as table tennis.
After a while, I found that I could also play pickleball and this sport also helps me sweat, improving my physical strength very well. This is a sport that men and women can play, all levels can play and everyone can easily communicate and get along with each other. However, although the technique of pickleball is quite gentle, sweating is also very good (laughs).
The pickleball tournament “Dan Tri 20 years – Brilliant new days” not only creates opportunities for artists to interact with the newspaper and Dan Tri readers, but also aims to raise funds to support the construction of 5 charity houses in Cao Bang province. How does Quynh Nga evaluate this goal of the tournament?
- I think each criterion that the organizers have put forth has been discussed very carefully. With the above goal, the organizers must have used a lot of brainpower and I hope the tournament will be successful, collecting a certain amount of money to build 5 charity houses for people in difficult circumstances.
