Ho Chi Minh City University of Education has just announced the results of the 2025 regular university and college entrance exam.

In particular, in the method of considering high school graduation exam scores, 2 majors have admission scores above 29 points and 4 majors have admission scores above 28 points. Chemistry pedagogy leads the standard score with 29.38 points, followed by literature pedagogy with 29.07 points, and geography pedagogy with 28.83 points.

In 2024, the two highest standard scores are literature pedagogy and history pedagogy, both at 28.6 points, no major will exceed 29 points like in 2025.

Non-pedagogical training majors also attracted strong interest from candidates with an average admission score of more than 23 points, of which Psychology achieved the highest score of 28.08 points.

The school representative said that the admission scores for non-pedagogical majors are often "softer" than those for some key pedagogical majors. For example, while many pedagogical majors have admission scores ranging from 26 to over 29 points, some majors such as Korean language, Japanese language, and information technology have admission scores of 22, 21, and 19 points, respectively.
