Last year, the admission score to the People's Security Academy based on the combination of graduation exam scores and the Ministry of Public Security 's assessment test scores ranged from 17.5 to 25.42.

This year, the People's Security Academy will enroll 440 full-time students for the 2025 school year, an increase of 30 places compared to last year. Of the 440 places enrolled in the People's Security Academy this year, 290 places (261 male, 29 female) are for the Security Operations major and 150 places (136 male, 14 female) are for the Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention major.

The northern recruitment area from Hue and beyond is divided into 4 regions (regions 1, 2, 3, 8).

Region 1: Northern mountainous provinces (10 provinces): Ha Giang, Cao Bang, Bac Kan, Tuyen Quang, Lang Son, Lao Cai, Yen Bai , Dien Bien, Lai Chau, Son La.

Region 2: provinces and cities in the Northern Delta and midlands (15 provinces and cities): Hanoi, Hai Phong, Hai Duong, Hung Yen, Hoa Binh, Phu Tho, Thai Nguyen, Bac Giang, Vinh Phuc, Bac Ninh, Thai Binh, Nam Dinh, Ha Nam, Ninh Binh, Quang Ninh.

Region 3: North Central provinces (6 provinces and cities): Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Hue.

Region 8: North includes active duty soldiers stationed from Hue and beyond of units A09, C01, C10, C11, K01, K02.

In addition, the school recruits 100 students in Information Technology, under a cooperation program with Hanoi University of Science and Technology and 150 students for the second degree program. The admission method will be announced later, when there are instructions from the Ministry of Public Security.
