In order to improve the capacity of traffic infrastructure, enhance the ability to guide and divide traffic flows to contribute to ensuring traffic order and safety, the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee requests relevant agencies, localities and units to closely coordinate with road management units and traffic police forces to conduct inspections and determine the cause.
Thereby, proposing solutions to ensure that the traffic light system operates stably in all weather conditions, especially the solar traffic light clusters that operate unstably (especially in rainy weather and at night).
The Provincial Traffic Safety Committee also requested to promptly fix and repair any damage to the traffic light system, such as: countdown lights, turn arrow lights, etc.; periodically illuminate and clean the solar panels to ensure the traffic light system operates stably.
In case of detecting damages that need to be repaired but beyond the authority, or the repair cost is large, the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee requests agencies, units, and localities to synthesize and promptly report to competent authorities for consideration and resolution.

This situation has been going on for over a month now, confusing passersby and forcing car drivers to record videos as evidence. In fact, there have been traffic accidents here.
In addition, traffic lights at the intersection of National Highway 1 - Dien Bien Phu (Nam Dong Ha ward), National Highway 1 - Tran Hung Dao ( Quang Tri ward) have also been operating erratically in recent days, posing many potential traffic safety risks.
