On December 10, the Da Nang City Party Committee said that in 2024, Da Nang City has focused on accelerating the progress of establishing, appraising, approving and announcing zoning planning projects.
Up to now, Da Nang city has approved 9/9 urban subdivisions, including Hillside Urban Area; High-tech; Hoa Vang District Urban Area; Green Core Center; Airport; Da Nang Bay Coast; Lien Chieu Seaport; Han River Coast and East Bank; Innovation.
Along with that, 6/10 functional area construction subdivisions have been and are continuing to be approved, including approval of 2/10 functional area construction subdivisions (Hoa Xuan Sports Complex; Hoa Hiep Bac Ward tourist area in the Western Ecological subdivision); striving to approve 4 construction subdivision planning projects in the Western Ecological subdivision by the end of 2024 (Ba Na peak and foot tourist area, Khe Ram tourist area, Dong Nghe lake tourist area, tourist area along National Highway 14G).
At the same time, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee regularly inspects the situation and directs the removal of difficulties and obstacles, speeds up the progress of key projects and works, especially the construction projects of the Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan Expressway, the renovation and upgrading of National Highway 14B (Tuy Loan - Ha Nha section); directs the research and proposal of investment plans and roadmaps for tunnels across the Han River, tunnels across Da Nang airport, and the Railway Station Relocation Project; strengthens the management of urban order, maintenance of technical infrastructure, dredging and clearing of water collection and drainage systems, and deploys solutions to overcome and handle flooding during the rainy and stormy season; directs the acceleration of solid waste treatment plant projects in the Khanh Son area.
