Da Nang spends a lot of money to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the city's liberation

(Dan Tri) - Da Nang will set off fireworks at 3 locations, support the construction of 100 solidarity houses, support the upgrading of historical relics, and pay for residential groups and villages to organize festivals to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the city's liberation.

The People's Committee of Da Nang City has just issued a decision to implement the announcement of the Steering Committee for organizing the 2025 anniversary activities. In particular, the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee agreed on the content of the draft plan to organize the anniversary celebration combined with the parade and marching activities on the morning of March 29, 2025, the 50th anniversary of the city's liberation.

Da Nang will set off fireworks at 3 locations including Bach Dang Street Square (Hai Chau District), in front of Lien Chieu District Administrative Center and the resettlement area of the western beltway (Hoa Vang District); combined with a boat parade on the Han River and flower cars on the evening of March 28, 2025.

The Steering Committee agreed to support the construction of 100 solidarity houses for poor households and households in especially difficult circumstances in the revolutionary base area of Quang Nam - Da Nang during the resistance war from the city budget.

Da Nang will support funding for the construction of a traditional house and a memorial stele for the Women's Union of Liberation Zone V. Support 5 billion VND to renovate and upgrade the national historical site of the Quang Da Special Zone Party Committee Base in Hon Tau (Duy Xuyen district, Quang Nam province).

The city also supports residential groups and villages in the area to organize a national festival to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the city's liberation, with a level of 7 million VND/residential group and 10 million VND/village.

In addition, Da Nang will invest in flower decorations and lighting to celebrate Tet and major holidays and anniversaries in 2025.
