In her opening speech, Ms. Vu Thi Le Huyen, Deputy Director of the Center for Culture and Management of Dak Nong Geopark, Lam Dong province, affirmed the role and mission of Vietnamese revolutionary cinema accompanying the nation.

Cinema has preserved moments and truly reflected the two great national resistance wars and the work of construction, innovation, industrialization and modernization of the country, entering a new era - the era of national growth.

This is a meaningful activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2; at the same time, it is an opportunity to review the heroic history of our nation through classic cinema footage, together multiplying national pride.

The film festival took place with a series of rich activities such as: Exhibition of photos of Lam Dong developing with the country; professional art performances; traditional folk art performances; quiz game of the country's cinema through the perspective of cinema...

The exhibition of images of Lam Dong developing with the country created a festival space, introducing 150 vivid images of Lam Dong land and people and the province's development in all fields of politics , economy, culture, society, security and defense.

In addition, the exhibition corner Gia Hiep Commune - Cultural identity and new vitality with more than 50 images of the material and spiritual life of the people and the successful 1st Gia Hiep Commune Party Congress attracted a large number of people to enjoy.

The special art program performed by Lam Dong Art Theater praised the Party, Uncle Ho, the beautiful homeland; along with gong performances and cheo singing performed by the commune's art clubs, the Gala was colorful, blending tradition and modernity.

On this occasion, Vien Dong Di Linh Company awarded 20 scholarships to studious and disadvantaged students from schools in the commune.

In particular, after the gala night, the film projection teams will go to the communes of Don Duong, Ninh Gia, Tan Ha Lam Ha, Hoa Bac, Bao Lam, Da Huoai, Ward 1 Bao Loc to screen films for the people.

Five selected films of Vietnamese revolutionary cinema will be screened during the film week from August 22 to 29: The Scent of Burning Grass; Peach, Pho and Piano; Letter Road; Legend Writers; Road Through the Forest.
