Various tours for September 2nd holiday

This year’s 4-day September 2nd holiday (from August 30th to September 2nd) is a good time for everyone to plan their vacations and entertainment. Travel companies are also introducing many itineraries and services to meet the diverse needs of tourists.

In fact, airfares from now until September 2 are quite expensive. Therefore, tourists are also hesitant when choosing air tours. Ms. Ngo Nguyen Hong Loan, Director of Ngo Phuong Dong Travel Company, shared: “In fact, the ceiling price of airfares is always stable, but tourists rarely book tickets and services in advance. Therefore, when the Tet holiday is approaching, the demand increases, so the ticket prices also change. Currently, some flights to Hanoi or Da Nang are almost sold out. The remaining flights only have 2-3 seats and the prices are higher than usual”. Travel services during the Tet holiday are more expensive than usual because not only airfares increase but almost all other services do, making tour prices higher than usual.

Ms. Luong Thi Quynh, Deputy Director of Vietravel Can Tho, shared: “On the occasion of the September 2nd holiday, in order to help tourists save costs, Vietravel proactively booked services with partners such as airlines, transportation, hotels, etc. early to ensure price stability. At the same time, we designed individual service packages, such as combo air tickets, hotel rooms, visas, or airport pick-up and drop-off services, etc. Thanks to that, tourists have more choices to suit their needs and budgets.”

Mr. Thach Quoc Huu, Director of the Western Discovery Company added: “To meet the diverse needs of tourists, in addition to traditional tours, we also have itineraries designed according to each request, or provide individual service packages: homestay, camping, restaurant, cafe... so that tourists can choose suitable services”.

Ms. Le Thi Ngoc Nhi (Ninh Kieu Ward, Can Tho City) said: “Our family has a private car and chooses to drive ourselves for the holiday trip. However, to ensure a good experience, I still choose accommodation and entertainment packages from travel companies because they have quality-tested service packages and more preferential prices.”

According to travel agencies, the purchasing power of the holiday tourism market this year is lower than in previous years. Partly due to the economy, partly due to the psychology of avoiding crowded places, choosing nearby, quiet destinations or returning to the countryside more. However, the market is still changing because Vietnamese tourists still prefer to decide on their travel itinerary closer to the date.
