The Department of Education and Training of Lai Chau province has just announced the admission scores for grade 10 in the 2025-2026 school year (phase 1) for high schools in the province.

According to Lai Chau Department of Education and Training, the benchmark scores of non-specialized public schools fluctuate widely, from 4.75 to 23.75 points. The total number of students admitted this time is 4,858, applied to candidates who participated in the recent entrance exam, not including students admitted directly.
Dao San High School has the lowest standard score of 4.75 points, an average of nearly 1.6 points/subject.
Many other high schools have scores below 10 points, including: Quyet Thang, Muong Kim, Muong Than, Tan Uyen, and Nam Nhun.
The scores of ethnic boarding schools range from average to high, ranging from 10.25 to 23.75 points. Of which, Lai Chau province's ethnic boarding high schools have the highest standard score of 23.75 points. The lowest is Muong Te district's ethnic boarding high schools with 10.25 points.

In the specialized class at Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, the leading position is the English specialized class with 39.25 points, followed by the literature specialized class with 38 points, the math specialized class with 34 points, the chemistry specialized class with 30.75 points, and the physics specialized class with 30.25 points. The two classes with lower standard scores are the biology specialized class and the history specialized class, both with 28 points.
The benchmark scores announced this time are expected before the review, so the Department of Education and Training will have an adjustment notice if there are any changes from the exam review results.
Lai Chau Department of Education and Training will receive appeal applications until June 14 and announce results on June 20.
According to the 10th grade enrollment plan for the 2025-2026 school year in Lai Chau province issued by the Provincial People's Committee in February 2025, the expected enrollment number is 5,998 students, equivalent to 61.53% of the number of junior high school graduates in the 2024-2025 school year.
