Mr. N.D.L., the owner of a hotel in Dong Hoi ward, said: "After SGGP Newspaper reported the news, the police of Dong Hoi, Dong Thuan, and Dong Son wards took action to rectify the chaotic situation of electric cars. Electric cars no longer run during rush hours, causing no local traffic jams on Truong Phap and Nguyen Du streets. The situation of demanding bribes has also decreased significantly because electric cars no longer carry passengers."

Mr. NQTr., owner of a seafood restaurant in Dong Hoi ward, said: "We thank SGGP Newspaper for reflecting the chaotic situation of electric vehicles in recent times. Now we no longer have to be forced to pay a percentage of the per capita for electric vehicles because they dare not appear due to the end of the trial period."
Lieutenant Colonel Tran Huu Phong, Head of Dong Hoi Ward Police, said: "After SGGP Newspaper reported, the locality sent forces to be on duty to remind the electric vehicles. Each day is divided into 3 shifts, each shift has 4 soldiers patrolling on key tourist streets, propagating that electric vehicles are not allowed to run after the trial period ends. Waiting for new regulations, to ensure the safety of tourists".

Mr. Nguyen Hai Cuong, Director of Cat Vang Company with 30 electric cars on trial, said that during the trial period, the unit discovered that some of its cars were operating without permission on the streets of Dong Hoi, and we seriously reminded the offending drivers. "In the future, if the electric cars without a box continue to serve tourism, we hope that the authorities will guide and complete the regulations so that the drivers can operate, contributing to the image of a friendly homeland," said Mr. Cuong.
Mr. N.D.L. added: "For electric cars to operate in a systematic manner, there needs to be an app for tourists to book seats. The cars need to clearly list prices for each route, and drivers need to wear uniforms and receive basic training in local tourism."

Previously, SGGP Newspaper reported that the tourism community in Dong Hoi and Dong Thuan wards was upset about the situation where electric car drivers demanded "tips" when taking customers to hotels, restaurants, and eateries.
Ms. NTH, the owner of a restaurant and karaoke bar, was upset: “They demand a 15% commission when taking customers to the restaurant, and 25% if the customers sing karaoke. Even though the customers have paid for the car, the driver still demands more!”
Not only stopping at asking for bribes, many restaurants and hotels said that when they refused or reported unreasonable demands for money, electric car drivers immediately mobilized people to rate 1 star or 3 stars on the Google platform, causing the location to lose prestige and making it difficult to reach customers.
Mr. Hoang Ngoc Dan, Chairman of Dong Hoi Ward People's Committee, said that after SGGP Newspaper reported, the ward promptly took corrective action. In the coming time, the locality will continue to strictly implement to maintain a friendly image in the eyes of tourists.
