From 5:30 a.m. on August 26, the North-South expressway section through the provinces from Thanh Hoa to Ha Tinh was reopened due to the rain and storm having decreased.
Accordingly, the Traffic Police Department requested that the Traffic Police force coordinate with the highway management unit to clean up fallen trees, broken signs and broken obstacles during the storm, and check the entire route for safety; requesting traffic participants to pay attention: pay attention, reduce speed, keep distance, drive in the correct lane, do not avoid overtaking illegally... Traffic Police force continues to be on duty on the route to support people to travel smoothly and safely.

Due to the impact of the storm, heavy rain has caused slippery roads and limited visibility. Therefore, the Traffic Police force requests vehicle management units to thoroughly grasp and require drivers to strictly comply with safety regulations: drive at the correct speed, drive in the correct lane and maintain a safe distance on all roads.
It is known that due to the impact of storm Kajiki (storm No. 5), from 1:30 p.m. on August 25, the Traffic Police Department has banned all vehicles from traveling on the North-South Expressway, the section passing through Nghe An province to ensure safety for people and vehicles.
