Last year, the Hanoi Health Sector Trade Union achieved many important results. The focus was on doing a good job of representing and protecting the legal and legitimate rights of union members and employees, taking care of the lives of union members and employees, and doing social and charitable work.
During the Lunar New Year, the Hanoi Labor Federation awarded 300 subsidies to union members and employees in the Hanoi health sector in especially difficult circumstances, each worth 1 million VND, with a total amount of 300 million VND; and awarded 1,102 subsidies to union members and employees in difficult circumstances, each worth 500,000 VND, with a total amount of 521 million VND.
Along with protecting the rights of union members and workers, the Industry Union also promotes emulation movements among employees.
The Industry Union continues to implement the movement "Innovation in style and service attitude of medical staff towards patient satisfaction", "Good people - good deeds", scientific research "Initiatives, creativity"... In addition, last year, the Industry Union admitted 1,443 new members (reaching 96.2%) and established 6 grassroots Unions.
At the conference, the Hanoi Health Sector Trade Union launched two emulation campaigns in 2025 among cadres and employees of the entire sector. Vice Chairman of the Hanoi Health Sector Trade Union Nguyen Van Chanh called on all cadres, union members, civil servants, public employees and workers in the entire health sector of the capital to actively respond to the emulation movements, determined to strive to overcome all difficulties and challenges, and complete the tasks of the agency, unit and the sector.
On this occasion, the Hanoi Health Sector Trade Union was awarded the Flag of Excellent Unit in the Workers' Movement and Trade Union Activities in 2024 by the Hanoi City Labor Federation.
The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor awarded Emulation Flags to 16 collectives, Creative Labor Certificates to 29 individuals, and Certificates of Merit to 58 collectives and 50 individuals; the City Confederation of Labor awarded Emulation Flags to 106 collectives, and Certificates of Merit to 318 collectives and 652 individuals for their outstanding achievements in the emulation movement and Trade Union activities in 2024.
The Hanoi Health Sector Trade Union has rewarded 114 collectives with outstanding achievements in the labor movement and trade union activities in 2024; and rewarded 68 individuals with achievements in coordinating activities between the government and the trade union.
Also within the framework of the program, the Health Sector Trade Union organized a booth display and gave free gifts to union members and workers.
