This event not only marks an important step forward in the comprehensive digitalization of industrial park management and operations, but also affirms Nam Cau Kien's pioneering role in the journey to create an ecological industrial park, aiming for the NetZero goal and opening up the potential for exploiting carbon credits.
“Shinec Digital Green Economy” is a smart industrial park management system that focuses on the digitalization of environmental management, emission management, and security. Through the “Shinec Digital Green Economy” platform, the system will collect real-time carbon emission data, analyze emission and energy consumption hotspots, and propose improvement strategies and monitor efficiency.
Mr. Pham Hong Diep, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Shinec Joint Stock Company affirmed: “Investing in this green and digital solution not only helps Nam Cau Kien Industrial Park optimize operations and save costs by optimizing energy and resources, but is also a strategic step to enhance brand reputation through environmental responsibility, towards achieving ISO certification for energy management (ISO 50001) and carbon neutrality (ISO 14068) by 2030”.
In the next phase of the project, the digitalization of green space will include trees, shrubs, lawns, landscape trees, parks, flower gardens and water surfaces (accounting for 31% of the entire industrial park) and renewable energy sources will create a solid basis for calculating carbon absorption and aiming to participate in the future carbon credit market for the Investor.
This project has brought transparency and automation of operational data; Optimized energy consumption and operating costs; Reduced greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and moved closer to the Net Zero target; Calculated potential carbon credits for the industrial park; Enhanced operational security monitoring capacity; Supported the preparation of professional greenhouse gas and ESG inventory reports; Enhanced Shinec's image and brand value.
The launch of “Shinec Digital Green Economy” not only enhances the position of Shinec and Nam Cau Kien Industrial Park but also brings high credibility to implementation partners such as GGI Technology and TPIsoftware. Thereby, affirming the capacity to consult and provide advanced green-digital technology solutions, contributing to Vietnam’s sustainable development goals./.
