Police investigate case of teenage girl being beaten and stripped by friends, causing outrage

In the past few days, many clips have appeared on social media recording a group of teenagers (both male and female), believed to be in An Giang , using sticks and helmets to hit a young woman on the head many times, then stripping her clothes and filming the clip... causing public outrage.

On November 1, news from the leader of the People's Committee of Cho Moi district (An Giang) said that the locality is directing the police force to clarify and strictly handle the case of a group of teenagers beating and stripping a young woman, filming a clip and posting it on social media.

According to initial information, the incident occurred on the afternoon of October 29 at an empty lot in My Hoi hamlet, My Hoi Dong commune, Cho Moi district.

According to clips posted on social media, a small girl of about 13 years old was surrounded by a number of young men and women, who used their hands and helmets to hit her on the head many times. One of them used his hand to pull her hair, and then the whole group took off all of her clothes...

It is worth mentioning that many young people stood outside and witnessed but did not intervene, instead they filmed the clip, cursed and cheered "hit harder". Among them, there was a student wearing a school uniform who also joined in the beating.

After the clip appeared on social media, public opinion was outraged by the inhumane behavior of a group of teenagers beating and stripping their friend.

The social media accounts that posted the information have now removed the post.
