Concert 'Stars join the army': Parading on stage, Major Long suddenly 'shoots' rap

Sao Nhap Ngu Concert is pleasing to the eyes and ears with meticulous investment in each performance. The constant interaction between artists and soldiers creates a unique feature for the program.

On the evening of August 24, the Sao Nhap Ngu Concert 2025 took place at the Creative Park, Ho Chi Minh City with a scale of 20,000 spectators. The stage was magnificent, the highlight was the iconic star.

The program of more than 40 performances divided into 4 chapters, recreating the journey of a soldier from the first step of enlistment to the aspirations of today's youth. The first chapter is "Marching Song", opened with a medley of "Singing Forever the Marching Song" and "Steps on the Truong Son Range" by a group of 4 artists: Jun Pham, Bui Cong Nam, Duy Khanh and Hai Dang Doo.

The Sao Nhap Ngu Concert attracted attention when it paraded on stage with hundreds of soldiers from the Army, Navy, Air Force and Border Guard.

Chapter 2 "Love on the Front Line" brings music filled with camaraderie and love for the home front. The audience burst into tears when singer Soobin appeared with two songs "Return" and "Dancing in the dark" with new lyrics. He also heated up the atmosphere of the show when he performed affectionately with Yen Dan in "Walking in the Bright Sky".

The performance "Wherever your car goes, I follow you" gathered the artists participating in "Stars join the army" season 2020. The audience applauded enthusiastically when Major Nguyen Viet Long (widely known as "Captain Long") suddenly rapped.

Chapter 4 "As Long as the Country, We Will Go" is a combination of tradition and modernity. Young compositions with heroic melodies such as "Nam Quoc Son Ha", "Made in Vietnam", "Shining like the Stars", "Doa Hoa Hong" are fresh, youthful and still proud.

The concert ended with the grand chorus of “Forever Vietnamese” and “Aspirations of Youth”. All artists sang together, leaving a strong echo and pride in the tens of thousands of spectators.
