Option 2 proposes to transfer all staff, workers, athletes, and young players of Quang Nam Football Development Joint Stock Company, Quang Nam Football Club, and Quang Nam Youth Football Training Center to SHB Da Nang Sports Joint Stock Company for management.
Before the information was posted on the Facebook page of Quang Nam Club on the morning of July 22, Tuoi Tre Online contacted Mr. Nguyen Trong - head of the Quang Nam Club football team - but his phone number was locked.
This can be considered the last cry for help from the Quang Nam football team in the hope of not being disbanded. If "it does not receive attention from the City People's Committee, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang", it is likely that the Quang Nam Club will send a letter requesting to officially stop operating.
Previously, on July 21, Quang Nam Club announced to the players that the team would disband, not participate in V-League 2025-2026, and merge with SHB Da Nang Club. Accordingly, those who have job opportunities elsewhere can be given the opportunity to leave early. If the team has to merge, the remaining players will return to SHB Da Nang Club.
The situation is now difficult for Quang Nam FC. They may be the first team to lose their name after the merger of provinces and cities. Da Nang City currently has SHB Da Nang football team playing in the V-League.
If Quang Nam Club withdraws from the tournament, this will also be a big challenge for the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and the V-League operator - VPF Company.
